We have agreements with all sorts of land owners across Cheltenham to grow veg on small pockets of land. It will be like a market garden, professionally run, using no dig principles in order to have the lowest carbon footprint possible. All vegetables will be delivered to the various pantries and food outlets across Cheltenham on the same day they are pulled up.
Veg Growing is Growing in 2024!
We are doubling the capacity at St Marks and Hesters way site, and have taken on four allotments sites in Charlton Kings. Our plan is to extend the growing season as well as extend the range and volume of veg, we expect to treble the weight of veg we supplied in 2023.
We still need volunteers and there will be projects in the early spring where help will be appreciated.
